Welcome — to my blog, my journal

When putting together the content for my website, I realized how many photos were being left out and how I wanted a place to share my travels, my thoughts and the things I like. So I decided to do something about it, now more than ever in these special times of isolation that we’re living.

I am going to share more of my film photography over here since it is the most personal content I have created so far. My trustworthy Olympus Stylus Infinity Zoom is the only camera I carry with me always. What I shoot with it is literally what I live.

I am preparing several travel guides from destinations where I have already been, and will start making guides and posts of everywhere I go, as well as visual journals. Not going to lie… this is the part that excites me the most. I cannot wait to share all the good coffee places and secrets I have discovered over the years.

You can also expect a lot of interior content. I am more and more into interiorism these days and Berlin is inspiring me even more to discover new brands, new styles and to play with textures, colors and shapes.

2019 was a rough year for a lot of reasons — lack of inspiration being one of them. 2020 has me feeling completely renewed.

I wanted to give a special shoutout to the women who have played such a big role in me starting this blog:

First, my mom. She passed away on the last night of 2019 and she was my best friend, my biggest support, and the person I trusted the most. She was always telling me how I should be present and not worry about the future. This blog is born out of the desire of appreciating life more.

Rebecca Goddard, my dear friend, and incredible creative soul. I haven’t met anyone as committed and in love with their job as her. She pushed me to start this blog and hers is such an inspiration.

And, of course, Adriana Pal. What can I say about her! She’s my favorite graphic designer and I can’t believe we get to be friends. She designed my whole brand identity and this website, and had the greatest ideas for me to implement.

I hope that you join the ride and find inspiration in this space!

See you soon,

x
