Why Paris In The Rain Is Still Worth Visiting

( VISUAL JOURNAL )

The city of love, the city of light. Coffees in terraces. Endless art exhibitions, museums, and galleries. Artists in the streets. Stunning architecture. It’s so easy to fall in love with Paris. Especially when it’s 7 o’clock on a spring night, the Eiffel tower starts sparkling and the most beautiful sunset turns the scenery into a pink and purple Monet painting.

The last time I went to Paris was a weekend in May last year with my parents and my brother. The rainiest, moodiest weather welcomed us, but luckily by Sunday all the clouds had left and we could explore around Montmartre freely.

It was my mom’s first time in Paris and a dream that she wanted to fulfill very bad. My favorite thing was seeing her so happy around Van Gogh and Monet paintings, watching the Eiffel tower sparkling or walking around Montmartre.

There’s no doubt why basically everyone loves Paris. Everybody can find a part of themselves somewhere. I have to admit that I still need to wander more around the districts to get to know it better.

See you soon,
